Some of its features are as follows – it has a kernel module implementing a virtual SCSI host bus adapter. It consists of a libmirage which is a software library for interpreting optical disc images. It also has a daemon which emulates the functionality of a SCSI optical drive and disc. Plus, it offers a textmode and GTK clients for controlling the emulator. It is not available in the official repositories of Debian, Ubuntu, and Fedora Linux for any kind of release.
